Vijay's 'Master' Thalapathy 64 movie is directed by Lokesh kanagaraj. Starring Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi for the first time played their roles on opposite sides make so curious to both the fans' had been waiting to watch this terrific combo on big screens so eagerly. In a recent interview Lokesh has accepted, 'Master' role is based on a true story, now doing rounds on the internet.

The hype is aided by the film featuring a group of established film personalities, Master plays a lead role by Thalapathy Vijay as professor, Vijay Sethupathi will be play an evil character and Malavika mohan, Andrea, Jeremiah, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das and next generation actors(Youtubers) will be playing key roles, Anirudh Ravichandran has composed music for the film and produced by XB Film Creators.

Master movie update starts from 31 December 2019 from the first look poster on New Year's Evening. The Second look poster was released on Thai Pongal, 15 January 2020, The third look poster was released on 26 January 2020 on Indian Republic Day. A 3D kutty story song by Vijay was posted on YouTube on February 14, 2020. On March 15, the audio launch of the film took place on Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai with a live telecast held on Sun Tv.

Now, 'Master' movie is completed and ready to run in theatres on April 9, fans are so excited about this announcement but due to COVID pandemic, dates have been postponed. And no official announcement has been updated by the Master team members for the five months. Due to lockdown Kollywood films getting back to back release on OTT platforms, Vijay fans are getting disappointed without any official updates. On Diwali, the crew released the film’s teaser and confirmed "we will wait for the theatre to re-function normally" it received a huge positive response from the fans.

The film will be released in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada. Master will become the first major mega budget film released on theatres in 2021. Now the movie is ready to be released in theatres with 100% seat occupancy on January 13, 2021 in Tamil Nadu. Fans are reminded about the pandemic situation, and to wear masks and wash hands with sanitizer before entering into theatres. 'Master' Expectation is getting higher and higher in recent days in social media fans.
